theReformed is a electronic think-tank which consists of industry professionals that have a common-denominator of technology between them. The focus of this weblog, which originated in August 2006* after disturbing developments in global agendas, includes commentary and analysis relevant to the topics of InfoSec, Politics, Privacy, Disclosure, Innovation, Marketing, Product/Service Review and even the Economy.
Deadlines do not exist for the contributors, as deadlines tend to force ideas and concepts instead of letting them mature naturally and all contributors come and go as their schedules and priorities allow. The amalgamation of their backgrounds and expertise is beneficial and advantageous to creating a well-rounded electronic melting pot of information that you can tap into.
methodology »
The intention, through critical, unbiased and objective analysis, is to assist the Internet community as a whole in determining (among others) how…
- … global decisions and/or crisis may impact their online and offline livelihood.
- … a product or service can be used, abused and manipulated for/against them.
- … their privacy and/or security may be called into question as technology adapts.
- … political agendas may effect the development of technology in their region.
- … evolving legal precedence may determine their ability to socialize, progress, share or educate.
Education or stimulation of the viewing audience is paramount.

* » theReformed originated under the auspices of table conversation by several contributors to the former HNC Network (circa 1996-2003), a coalition of technology enthusiasts, blackhats/whitehats and infosec professionals; however, it isn’t a fork of that former organization. It is an entirely self-contained, intentionally low-maintenance project and devised as a neutral publishing platform for colleagues to evangelize from. Much of the content produced comes from the relentless pursuit of self-advancement in the corresponding courses of study, field experience and operational feedback from the bleeding edge.
